SUMMER IN THE CITY JUST GOT BETTER!
In a world filled with YouTube channels, TikTok videos, and Xbox games, it’s harder than ever for kids to get outside and just be kids. Too often, hours spent in front of screens replace the laughter, teamwork, and life lessons that only play can provide — and that’s where we come in!
For you, it’s about keeping your child active, healthy, and happy. For them, it means no school, lots of fun, and sports all summer long.
For 25 incredible years, Hi-Five Sports Camp Chicago has helped kids reignite their love for movement, friendship, and competition through the power of sports. Our first-ever 9-week summer runs June 15 – August 14, 2026, and it’s going to be packed with sports, friends, and surprises from start to finish — plus convenient bus service across the city to make camp days a breeze for families.
Staffed with experienced professionals and inspiring role models, Hi-Five provides a safe, well-equipped, and positive environment where kids grow through play. Teamwork, sportsmanship, athleticism, balance, patience, and perseverance are just a few of the lifelong skills we emphasize and instill every day. Hi-Five teaches how to win, how to lose, and — most importantly — how to have fun!
Hi-Five Sports Camp Chicago is about so much more than winning and losing; it’s about playing hard, playing fair, building confidence, and enjoying the camaraderie that comes from being part of something bigger.
Summer 2026 marks our biggest celebration yet — registration opens soon! Don’t miss out on this unforgettable 25th Anniversary summer.

We’re Sports Nuts...AND Qualified Ones At That!
At Hi-Five, we don’t just love sports — we live them. Our team is made up of professional coaches, high school and college athletes, and certified physical education teachers who bring energy, experience, and heart to every drill, game, and huddle. We teach fundamentals through personalized instruction, positive reinforcement, and plenty of humor and fun.
No matter your child’s skill level, our goal never changes: build confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love for the game. Every camper learns the value of effort, respect, and sportsmanship — and leaves each day feeling proud, capable, and part of a team.
And we’re not new to this. Hi-Five is family-owned and proudly Chicago-grown, serving local families since 1999. From our flagship Sports Camp to Hi-Five Housecalls, School Break Camps, Birthday Parties and the Hi-Five Hoops Jr. NBA Program, we’ve been leading the way in safe, high-energy, skill-building programs for over two decades.
Because at Hi-Five, sports aren’t just what we do — they’re who we are.

Yes! At Hi-Five, no two days are alike! We know how much kids love the thrill of field trips and special events. Excursions may take us to water parks, Cubs or Sox games, Lincoln Park Zoo, Johnny’s Ice House, and sports exchanges with our Northfield campus.
The Hi-Five Hot Lunch Program offers campers individual meals catered by Chicago’s favorites like Fontano’s Subs, Popeye’s, Taco Bell, Buona Beef, and Lou Malnati’s. And every week ends with the famous Hi-Five Friday cookout. In addition, we offer a healthy and balanced menu of basics like WOW Butter (contains no peanuts) and jelly, bagels and cream cheese, plus fresh fruits every single day. So in addition to the catered meal, there are also many other healthy options to choose from. Our lunch program is peanut-free and a vegetarian option is always available. Of course, campers are welcome to bring their own lunches any time; refrigeration is available.

We believe athletics builds confidence and ultimately provides a focus that is important all through life. In addition to sports, we have talent shows, Halloween in July, and all sorts of fun, engaging activities for your camper to enjoy.
Buddy Ball Division - "Sports Camp 101"
- Kindergarten-1st grade
- Allows our emerging athletes to play the same activities as the older kids, but at an age-appropriate level
- Buddy Ballers will be divided into small teams with their own respective counselor (5-6:1 ratio)
- Our activities emphasize gross motor skills and balance rather than fine-tuned technical movements.
- We use various techniques such as:
- Shorter, varied activities and lots of breaks
- Smaller, lighter equipment
- Individual activities and small groups
Little Buddies Division - “Buddy Ballers in Training!”
- Pre-K (must be 4 year old by June 1st)
- Like Buddy Ball, sports activities are downsized to encourage coordination, teamwork, social and emotional development as well as enhancing gross and fine motor skills while, of course, having fun!
- This age group learns best through play and exploration, not structured drills.
- Little Buddies will be divided into small teams with their own respective counselor (4:1 ratio)
- Little Buddies is an all-day program (9am – 3pm)
Coaches in Training Program (Incoming 8th Graders & 9th Graders): This program is designed to prepare our campers to become Hi-Five Coaches.
C.I.T.s must be entering 8th grade or their freshman year in high school. In the C.I.T. program, the first half of the day is devoted to assisting coaches in their daily staff duties and receiving counselor training.
The second half of the day, C.I.T.s will participate in camper activities designed especially for their age group. Special field trips and on-campus events will also be planned with this age group in mind.
8th graders may also choose to attend Hi-Five as full-time campers!
