Hi-Five Elite Basketball
— Freshmen & Sophomores —

Mission Statement

Our mission is to help develop a lifelong love of sports with quality skills training and competitive play among children and young adults. Our program curriculums will also achieve the highest level of fun for children and give parents the convenience and service they expect. These tools will help each child build physical, intellectual, and emotional foundations that will help them succeed in life through sports!

Hi-Five Elite Basketball programs will be funded by programming expenses for participating in this basketball program. Additional funding and support will be obtained through fundraisers, donations, and corporate partnerships. Funds will be utilized to underwrite the costs of implementing our coaching style, athletic training, and opportunities to underserved youths and military families in the San Antonio Area. This tremendous undertaking needs a partnership among community leaders and corporations to ease the financial burden and lower costs and fees to all participants.

The Hi-Five Sports Club NW SA is pleased to offer this new program. This team will be supported, appreciated, and respected during the training process, and his progress and achievements will always be a principal concern. All Hi-Five coaches are experienced and knowledgeable individuals who have proven ability to teach and develop young athletes.

Here’s How It Works

All Hi-Five coaches are experienced and knowledgeable individuals who have proven ability to teach and develop young athletes.

Hi-Five Elite Basketball stresses the importance of fundamental play, teamwork, sportsmanship, hard work, and respect, all in a fast-paced and competitive environment.

Your son will be supported, appreciated, and respected during the training process, and his progress and achievements will always be a principal concern.

We will be focusing on fundamentals, teamwork, skills, fun drills, and game concepts during the Winter session. We will also be scrimmaging with our private groups.

Any cancelations will be given credit for future programs at Hi-Five, no refunds.

Here are some of our safety and health protocols while moving inside this Fall/Winter. Please note the Hi-Five Sports Club is sponsored by a private facility for all families. Therefore, we feel that it is essential to monitor who is coming in and out of the facility. This, along with our protocols, suppose we are putting families in a great position to stay safe and healthy!

-At your discretion, kids, parents, and coaches must wear a mask during practice if not fully vaccinated. Proof of vaccinations is not required.

-IF your athlete has any COVID symptoms, including fever or cough, we ask that you notify your coach and me and keep them home from all activities until they produce a negative test before returning

-IF your child or family has been exposed to someone who has COVID, we ask that you notify your coach and me immediately and keep your child out of all activities until you produce a negative test

-The Facility is cleaned and sanitized constantly by the Hi-Five staff.

-WE ask that all kids bring their own basketball for any basketball classes, water bottle to practices and scrimmages

-Hi-Five will clean all equipment between use with sanitation solutions.

Games and Tournaments will be added to the schedule throughout the season.

Important Info

***Very Important*** Our Hi-Five Coaching staff is committed to reducing out-of-pocket costs for the parents or caregivers. Players and Parents will be asked to participate in all team fundraisers and functions as we are a team.

FUNDRAISERS: Some tournaments are not covered by the overall price of this package. If the team is invited to play in a “Pop-up Tournament,” Hi-Five will organize fundraisers if the team is willing to participate in one of these tournaments. Costs will be divided evenly, and parents have the option to pay out-of-pocket if they want their athletes to compete. This includes any fees for OUT-OF-TOWN or OUT-OF-STATE tournaments or games the team may qualify for.

GAMEDAY and TOURNAMENTS: Our team is going to be highly competitive. We require athletes to arrive 30 minutes before game time for stretching, warm-ups, and to discuss the overall game plan. Game stats and pictures will be taken by the coaches and posted on our social media web pages.

PRACTICES: Hi-Five Coaches will hold practices twice a week as scheduled and adjusted depending on game schedules. Athletes are required to bring a reusable water bottle and basketball to all team practices. NIKE and JORDAN apparel are necessary for practice at the Eastside Boys and Girls Club due to sponsorship requirements to use their gym. Personal training is available to all Hi-Five Elite team members at a different cost. Speak to any of our coaches for more details.
